Magnificent Louis XV style ceremonial desk in precious wood marquetry decorated with flowers, made in a Parisian cabinetmaking workshop in the 19th century. Its vibrant top reveals exceptional work of marquetry in rosewood, rosewood and native wood, restoring a magnificent central floral decoration animated around its perimeter by a frame formed of foliage on a rosewood background. This middle desk is surrounded by a gadrooned gilded bronze ingot mold with chiseled sculptures at the corners. The curved belt of this desk is fitted with a large drawer hidden on the front, decorated with foliage and flowers. This piece of furniture rests on curved legs enriched in the upper part with an ornate gilded bronze corner drop representing a woman's bust. In the lower part, a bronze ornamentation takes the form of a lion's claw shoe. Completely restored, it is a unique piece that catches the eye with its presence. ******** Period: 2nd part 19th century Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
