This lovely piece was discovered at a Estate sale. A vintage Danish Mid-Century Modern sewing table. The stamp "Nordisk Andels Eksport #101" Nordisk Andels-Eksport (NAE) was a Danish furniture and design company founded in 1953, known for innovative, high-quality designs using materials like teak, rosewood, and leather. This piece has a Flip-Top lid revealing a multi-compartment interior organizer (for needles, thread, buttons, etc.) Original wicker/rattan basket on the lower shelf. Tapered legs on casters Slatted lower shelf Teak veneer construction Almost certainly from the 1960s. The intact wicker basket and original casters add to the value.
