Rare sculptural Jugend desk by N. Boman Turku Finland, made early 1900s. The tables legs are y-shapes in a art nouveau manner. The desk has two shelves in each corner. Desk top / writing height 78 cm. The table has an original makers plate inside one drawers. Locks to drawers are a challenge to use, these are the originals which can be updated to new ones. A drawers with cracks in bottom. Later painted black by previous owner. The table is stable but has over a hundread years of patina which makes it a charming as well as useful and decorative piece of furniture art. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
