19th century sheraton revival leather top library table circa 1890. We are pleased to offer this free standing mahogany writing desk in the sheraton taste. Original brown leather top with multiple borders of black and gold tooling, strung border on wood and finish with moulded edge.  Like a partners desk, this piece has deep drawers on both sides, each fitted with ornate brass knobs and keyholes and further decorative stringing.  Further dummy drawers to each end complete the 360 appearance.   Inlay to each of the 4 tapered legs, standing on brass castors. Generous size and proportions, maintaining original patina. Clear fading/staining to original leather top with restoration, surface marks to woodwork in line with age and use, recently re-polished in our workshop and ready for everyday use.
