We have for your consideration a very extremely rare writing desk by Paul mccobb. Manufactured by H.sacks and sons in 1955 for his Connoisseur collection. This desk consists of thin and elegant brass trim that frames the perimeter of each tier. This desk consists of 4 small drawers located on the upper level that all slide in n out with ease. Along with three larger spacious drawers located on the bottom portion. All drawers slide in n out with ease. This desk has been professionally restored by a professional and it looks amazing. Almost like the day it was created. This desk consists of gorgeous African ribbon mahogany veneer and solid African mahogany wood. Desk has been restored to its original color with a flat lacquer sheen finish. Even inside the drawers were all cleaned up there are no strange smells inside the drawers. Brass trim frames and bottom leg support brass have all been hand polished and coated with a lacquer finish to keep the brass from tarnishing thru out the years. The handles have not been polished and are not brass they were brass plated but we’re leaving them in there vintage patina. Which adds character to this Gorgeous desk. This desk is solid and sound and very sturdy. This desk hardly ever comes up for sale so do not pass on your chance to own and extremely rare desk that’s is very sought after by collectors.
