Fully restored Danish mid century modern executive desk in teak, designed by Arne Vodder and produced by H.P. Hansen’s Mobelfabrik in the 1960s. The desk features an exoskeletal frame and raised edges on the ends, subtly invoking the flying eaves seen in traditional East Asian architecture. A column of drawers on the left side offers storage for everyday items while the larger drawer on the right accommodates file folders of various sizes. A fully finished back means this desk can occupy the center of a room. All parts of the desk have been fully refinished. It is sturdy and in excellent restored condition. Note: the height measurement below reflects the desktop height. It does not account for the raised edges.
