A spectacular vintage walnut pedestal desk by Laszlo Hoenig. This was made in London, there is a label beneath the top with the production year of 1951. It is of outstanding quality, this is extremely well made and it has a gorgeous design. The top has a concave shape with an inset leather writing surface, the handles are a mixture of brass and Bakelite. This sits on beautifully shaped legs, the back is nicely polished so this can be used as a free standing item. The top lifts off and this breaks down into three pieces for ease of transport. We have just had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, and the leather top has been replaced. The condition is superb throughout.
