The column bench is made of solid domestic hard wood and lacquered steel. The “Column” series is inspired by the structural columns found in New York City’s industrial factory spaces. The same simplicity of shape that lends structure to those architectural elements, makes the column series unique and robust in construction with minimal components. The proportions of the Column Bench are infinitely adjustable. While keeping the overall design (column and pilaster) the dimensions can be customized to fit any space, even a child’s room.
