The Hungarian artist Judit Burián designed the Erika chair in 1959. She was inspired by the chair of French designer, Pierre Guariche Tonneau. Erika was produced by the SZKIV (Chair – and Upholstery Industry Factory) in tens of thousands of copies. The chair was used in almost all Hungarian households during the socialist period. It retains the original fabric and is a comfortable working or dining chair. The wood parts are original and in a beautiful condition. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
