From the estate of a prominent French family, these antique Os De Mouton side chairs date to the early 1800s and have been newly upholstered in a vibrant blue leather and the reverse side in gray leather with nailhead trim duplicating the originals. The original springs and horsehair and the leather upholstery have been replaced to provide many more years of use. Wonderful age and patina in these old chairs now with their new dressing. As a point of conversation, the wood nails used in their manufacture are still in place and secure.
