This is a Postmodern Cubed Case Chair, designed by Brian Kane for the Metropolitan Furniture Corporation in 1988. The listed price includes one chair, and we have three available for purchase. The chairs have an upholstered seat encased in a square bleached-maple shell, harkening the look and feel of a shelter chair. There is an incised square motif along the top of the piece, lending credence to the design’s Po-Mo roots. Each chair measures 22.5 inches deep, 22.5 inches wide, and 31 inches high. The original upholstery is in good condition, but can easily and inexpensively be replaced. The wooden shells show some small scrapes or scratches, especially around the feet. Overall, these pieces are in good condition with some light wear apparent. Please see photos. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. Any refunds will be processed via the same means that payment was made.
