This is a Postmodern “Mandarin” armchair, initially designed by Ettore Sottsass for Knoll in 1986. These examples date to the 1990s, and the listed price includes one chair. We have three chairs available for purchase in this colorway. Their design features sculptural, tubular steel legs & arms, and has an upholstered seat & back. The upholstery is done in a geometrically patterned multi-colored fabric. These examples have glossy teal green enamel details. It’s all about the arms on these chairs... unmistakably Sottsass. Each chair measures 21 inches deep, 26 inches wide, and is 32 inches high. They have a seat height of 18 inches. Their enameled-steel arms and legs show some scuffs to the surface, leaving some rust, and the upholstery fabric shows very slight fading. Overall, these chairs are in solid vintage condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.
