There is no mark or documentation as proof that this pair of chairs are verified, "Peter" chairs by Niels Kofoed from the 1950/1960's. So we will say, they are in the style of the "Peter chair. I can say with certainty, that the chairs (which appears to be rosewood), have been re-glued and re-finished to perfection. The original seats were replaced with a custom made version that follows the beautiful shape of the chair frame that had been hidden. The upholstery is a Pindler & Pindler faux Ostrich leather, filled with high-density foam on a plywood base. We have created a pair of surprisingly comfortable chairs.
