With a sleek and instantly recognizable silhouette, Afteroom Chair has a small oblong backrest that extends from a bent back rod on the tubular powder-coated steel frame. Named for the Stockholm-based design studio, its creators say they were inspired by the minimalist spirit of the Bauhaus but only to a point: "It's important never to look back. Unless it's for finding very good references, of course."
