The Carol chair is a new design just completed in autumn 2021. The chair is handmade using bent walnut with the seat of English walnut. "I wanted to create a chair with a lightweight frame, that has a generous width and depth of seat for comfort".The photographs show the first edition of 12 chairs made for a private client, each chair or set of chairs is handmade and receives a consecutive making number and initialled on the underside.The last of the images shows the Carol stool alongside the Carol chair , both of which can be made in different timbers such as oak or ash.
