An exceptionally striking pair of antique Victorian Eastlake-style dining chairs featuring intricate carved lion motifs, hand turned spindle backs, and woven cane seats. Crafted from solid oak with a beautifully aged dark brown patina, the crest rails showcase unusually ornate mythological carvings that are rarely seen in standard Eastlake furniture. The combination of dark wood, delicate spindle work, and natural cane gives the pair a collected European feel that would fit perfectly in a Gothic Revival, dark academia, English cottage, traditional, or farmhouse style home. Likely dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, approximately 1890 to 1920.
