A stunning vintage Chiavari chair, model 137 a, from the 1950's, painted in a mat tomato red . The mat red gives new life to a classical form making the chair look very contemporary. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
