A fine set of five solid rosewood and upholstered dining chairs designed by Poul Volther for Frem Rojle, Denmark. Circa 1960. The legs are tapered solid rosewood with upholstered shaped backs and seats. The chairs come from a prominent Upper East Side apartment across the street from Gracie Manor. Good overall condition with minor cosmetic wear. Structurally sound and sturdy design. Some fade and wear to the upholstered herringbone pattern seats and backs. Each chairs measure approximately 18" deep x 19.38" wide x 30.25". The seat height is approximately 18".
