A beautiful set of eight Danish dining chairs designed by Henning Kjærnulf for EG Kvalitetsmøbel, Denmark, circa 1960s. These chairs are instantly recognizable by their sculptural ladder-back design, elegantly curved silhouettes, and solid oak construction. The carved details and characteristic organic lines make them a wonderful example of Danish craftsmanship from the mid-century period. The chairs retain a warm oak patina with attractive grain throughout. The upholstery is serviceable but would benefit from being replaced. It shows wear consistent with age, including some minor losses and imperfections.
