This is a bentwood chair attributed to Thonet, in the style of the #14 bistro chair with diagonal braces. Made in Poland in the early 20th century and bearing a Mazowia stamp and label. The round seat features a pressed shell motif. Each splayed leg is affixed to a round stretcher near the top of the leg.
