The Forum Lounge Chair from Case Furniture brings Robin Day's 1964 design into a dining chair form, reissued in close partnership with the Robin and Lucienne Day Foundation. The exposed hardwood frame, with its finger-joint detailing and chrome-plated legs mounted to the outside of the structure, is as central to the design as the seating itself — Day's deliberate choice to make the construction visible rather than hide it. Case recreated the original dimensions and full-width timber-plank casing while updating internal components to meet modern durability standards.
