Please select the quantity when ordering. -EMECO 1006 NAVY CHAIR White Aluminum Metal Side Dining Mid-Century Modern Bauhaus eames knoll era -Iconic modern design, the 1006 Navy chair was originally created in 1944 for the US Navy as a lightweight, non-corrosive, fire resistant and super strong chair for ships and submarines. Still built by hand from recycled aluminum in Hanover, Pennsylvania. White paint or lacquer finish (no longer in production). -These chairs have the original style round metal glides with clear plastic cap (see condition note below). -Approximate dimensions: 34" high, 16" wide, 19" deep, 18" seat height. -Overall good, lightly used conditions. Some nicks, small areas of finish loss, and surface blemishes. Note: The plastic cap on most of the glides are missing; four caps remain but are cracked or damaged. Replacement glides are available from Emeco.
