Lauren Liess designed this dining chair to encourage lingering at the table during family meals. The machine-washable cotton slipcover makes it family-friendly; the brown leather strap, fastened with wood buttons, and relaxed pleat on the back make it chic enough for entertaining. Beneath the slipcover the Parsons-style chair is upholstered in off-white muslin.
