Set of 4 Fully Restored Medea dining chairs by Vitorio Nobili for Fratelli Tagliabue, Italy, 1955 We all know them, it's just a very nice set of chairs. Rounded forms and a natural appearance together with a good balance in the materials, make this one of design icons of the midcentury Italian Modern period. An elegant chair and a piece of art really. Fratelli Tagliabue was one of the first once working with bended multiplex, using steam and a mold to create the perfect curves. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
