The molded plywood side chair by norman cherner, dating back to 1958, is the perfect companion to the classic cherner armchair. Ideal as a dining chair, it is both lightweight and sturdy, designed to be passed down from generation to generation. Its shell is made from multi-ply wood of varying thicknesses, ranging from 15 to 5 plies for the thin edges of the shell. Produced according to the original drawings and molds, the cherner side chair is entirely made in the united states. It is available in several finishes: walnut, beech, ebony, stella orange, and lacquered white. A matching armchair is also available.
