Set of six rare Italian rosewood dining chairs from the 1950s. Sculptural frame with a gently curved, upholstered butterfly backrest, padded seat suspended on the pointed corner supports of the underlying X-frame, and tapered legs with brass ferrules. Fully restored and recently reupholstered in textured blue velvet. This particular model is rare, well-documented, and more sculptural and generously proportioned than the simpler versions of this chair.
