Model 370 Boomerang Dining Chair In Oak By Alfred Christensen For Slagelse Møbelværk, Denmark, 1960s

$887

Chairish

A truly masterful piece of craftsmanship for a dining chair where the frame has a silhouette like a Boomerang, hence the name of course. The model number of the chair is 370 and it is in solid oak. Designed by Alfred Christensen for Slagelse Møbelværk in Denmark and the model is very unusual and especially in oak! The entire chair is softly shaped with great skill by the craftsman. The side piece of the chair that goes up together with the back tray becomes in profile a silhouette of a Boomerang. Even the legs have the same design as the side pieces and the whole chair is a very fine example of exquisite craftsmanship. The back part is softly shaped and provides excellent support and comfort. The legs are round and slightly slanted and connected, which gives very good stability. Labeled. 48 cm wide and 45/82 cm high. In very good condition with seat reupholstered with new padding and black leather. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
