Niels Moller - Model 78 Dining Chairs in Rosewood & Woven Leather Cord, 1962A fantastic example of Danish master Niels Moller's most iconic work: the Model 78 chair. The frames are made from highly figured rosewood and have been refinished in Danish oil at our workshops in London. Designed by Niels Moller for his own company: J.L. Moller Mobelfabrik in Denmark, 1962 the Model 78 became the most well known design from Moller's storied career. The seat is covered ion new woven leather cord, a unique upholstery finish that we have painstakingly developed to replicate rare versions of this design first produced by J.L. Moller Mobelabrik in the late 1960s. This upholstery finish is unique to our workshops in London.
