The pierced back splats are wonderfully carved with rocaille and acanthus motifs. Good antique condition with attractive light wear to the painted finish, light patina. Ca. second quarter of the 19th century with later painted finish. All and all very charming and sturdy, ready to use. New fine woven upholstery in an 18th century design.
