Store Item: Pair of Stickley Williamsburg Mahogany Coates Queen Anne Side Chairs CW 204 Silk Fabric Description: Copied from Antique Philadelphia Chairs in the Colonial Williamsburg Collection, the Coates Side Chairs were based on a late baroque chair produced in Philadelphia. According to legend, these sophisticated chairs were handed down through the Coates family of Philadelphia before their acquisition by Colonial Williamsburg. The Stickley Colonial Williamsburg are copied exactly as the originals and capture all the fine details of these important chairs including their angular balloon seats with recessed shells, voluted and acanthus carved knees, vase-shaped back splats and double S-scrolled crest rails. Upholstered in a beautiful multicolored silk striped fabric. Has the Stickley Williamsburg brass plaque along with the paper bill of sale on the bottom of each chair. Model Number CW 204 made in the USA. Condition Report: In very good condition with some scuffs, scratches and wear, fabric is in good condition with some light stains.
