The Passenger Armchair from Resident reimagines the classic safari chair viewed through a lens of contemporary craftsmanship. Designed by Simon James, this Lithuanian-made dining chair marries the structural integrity of a solid oak structure with a supple saddle leather sling seat that evolves beautifully with use and coordinates well with the curving seat back. Each seat is contract-grade tested and meticulously engineered. It features intentionally lower arms that allow it to pull up to a table, creating a versatile piece that easily transitions between commercial and residential spaces while offering airy comfort.
