The Pier Chair leverages simple architectural inspiration to create expressive simplicity with simple shapes. This solid oak masterpiece is made in Lithuania, and its design by Leonard Kadid draws inspiration from the maritime piers of its namesake, with cylindrical vertical elements creating an open, rhythmic form. CNC-machined curves are carved into the seat and back, adding comfort to the strong structure, made using precise traditional mortise and tenon joinery that keeps the wood's inherent strength and beauty on full display. Each chair is stackable and rated for contract-grade strength, matching pure utility with artistic expression to create something equally appropriate for home gatherings or everyday use in the workspace.
