The Standard SP (2013), or Siège en Plastique, introduces a new material to the iconic steel and wood chair designed by Jean Prouve in 1934. The SP is the result of a collaboration between Vitra and the Prouve family. By making use of today's materials, the SP continues the designer's goal to unite functional requirements, honest use of materials, and economical concerns with mass production. In other words, it's still an authentic Prouve chair, but at a lower price. Made in Germany.
