A rare and sculptural set of five dining chairs manufactured in Denmark in the 1960s by Vamdrup Stolefabrik. The design is attributed to Poul Hundevad, a renowned Danish master of Scandinavian modernism, known for his balanced proportions and elegant use of natural woods. Crafted from solid maple wood, the chairs feature beautifully curved, fan-shaped backrests consisting of four vertical struts that flow seamlessly into the back legs - a flowing, harmonious shape that embodies the sophistication of mid-century style. The spacious seats are still covered in the original floral upholstery fabric from the 1960s - a soft, structured fabric in delicate, earthy tones. The fabric is in very good vintage condition, pleasant to the touch and rich in character. All five chairs bear the original maker's stamp on the underside and are in excellent structural condition, with a beautiful patina of age and only minimal signs of wear.
