Set of 4 Thonet Cafe Daum N°4, 1960. By Salvatore Leone No 4 "Café Daum" designed by Thonet around 1860, and constantly produced until 1930 by the factories of Thonet. From 1930 it is taken again by Sautto and Libérale, then by Salvatore Leone in Italy then later also in Italy in very beautiful versions, one finds it in production of Belgium, Czechoslovakia and Poland, at Phoenix in the USA. We have here a beautiful set, solid, well built with recent caning. They can be used daily. A nice walnut shellac varnish. Measures 17" in width x 21" in dwpth, 35" in height with a seat height of 18.5"
