Traverse is an outdoor chair with slats made of heat treated solid ash with outdoor wood wax oil and frame made of shot-blasted diecast aluminium with outdoor lacquer.‎Designed for HAY by Erwan Bouroullec, the Traverse Chair and Armchair are part of an outdoor furniture collection designed to naturally blend in wherever it is placed.‎ Comprising a die-cast aluminium frame with slatted seat in heat-treated ash, the chairs combine a robust construction with an inviting expression that naturally patinates to make them more beautiful over time.‎ With their well-balanced aesthetics and ergonomic design, the Traverse Chair and Armchair can be used together with Traverse Tables to create dining and social set-ups in a wide range of private and public spaces.‎
