Handcrafted in France in 2000 by Parisian designer Jean-Rémy Couradette, this custom-made pair was produced as a small set of only two chairs, capturing the atelier spirit and restrained elegance of early-2000s French modern design. The silhouettes balance architectural clarity with inviting comfort, allowing the pair to function equally well as refined dining chairs or as accent seating in a salon, entry, or study. The frames are executed in bubinga, chosen for its richly figured grain and warm, deep tone. In 2021, the woodwork was professionally repolished and re-lacquered, restoring depth and definition to the natural figure. The seats and backs were also renewed in 2021 and are fully upholstered in a high-quality textile with a subtle shagreen-like texture, delivering a tailored profile and a sophisticated tactile finish. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs, designer records, or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution
