Set of 6 danish vintage chairs by kurt østervig for kp møbler, 1960s a beautiful and well-balanced set of danish mid-century chairs designed by kurt østervig for kp møbler, dating from the 1960s. the chairs are in very good vintage condition, with a solid and stable structure. the solid oak wood frames have been carefully restored and treated with oil to enhance the natural grain. the seats have been newly upholstered in a light green textile fabric, giving the set a fresh yet timeless appearance. condition note: on the armchairs, some joints were reinforced with screws in the past (see last photo). These are not original to the design, but have been left in place as the frames are stable and do not wobble. dimensions – armchairs: • width: 63 cm (24.8 in) • depth: 48 cm (18.9 in) • height: 75 cm (29.5 in) • armrest height: 64 cm (25.2 in) • seat height: 45 cm (17.7 in) dimensions – side chairs: • height: 85 cm (33.5 in) • width: 48 cm (18.9 in) • depth: 50 cm (19.7 in) • seat height: 45 cm (17.7 in) this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
