A stylish and very elegant chair in teak by arne vodder manufactured by the company sibast in denmark. the model has a low back and it gives a very elegant expression around the dining table. The chairs are really a breath of fresh air that also thrives with furniture in a more modern cut. They are absolutely top class and are easy to mix with other furniture. the legs are round with a coil-shaped silhouette. The hind legs go up towards the back and are angled towards the back tray. The connections between the pairs of legs provide a very stable chair. a chair that is really made with high craftsmanship and with a very high finish. the seat is covered in wool fabric in a musty green tone and has excellent padding with fine comfort. Upholstery is in reality in a much greener tone than the pictures show. vodder is one of the most famous designers from denmark and worked and ran companies together with finn juhl. he was a contemporary of big names like børge mogensen and arne jacobsen. Vodder's furniture was represented in the white house in the 1960s as well as in many banks, airline offices, embassies and hotels all over the world. vodder arranged many international exhibitions in sweden, england, austria and the usa together with verner panton and nanna ditzel.
