The table: Featuring movement and variation in color only created by nature, the top is stunning! A marquetry inlay border accents the perimeter. Two four-legged pedestals support the top, each with four stylized columns in the Georgian / Chippendale aesthetic. Each of the feet is capped with brass paw feet. Brass connectors for accepting the expansion leaves. Two 20" leaves are included to expand the table from 78" long to 98" or 118" at full extension. Featuring a center shell motif at each inner back, acanthus leaf details at chair back sides as well as the arms of the captain's chairs, all punctuated by oversized ball and claw feet at the front legs. The seats have been recently professionally reupholstered and over-stuffed for a luxurious yet firm dining chair. The fabric is a versatile taupe-brown weave that complements yet will not compete with any style selection on the tablescape.
