Very rare set of table and chairs signed Michelucci. The wooden furniture designed by the architect Giovanni Michelucci (1891-1990) was born from the aim of establishing a solid balance between lines and volume so that the product, which required the constant presence of a skilled carpenter, became an object "for everyone", capable of expressing principles of modernity but also of maintaining a close link with tradition. The Scapolare chair, designed by Michelucci in 1943, presents a subtle elegance, characterized by comfortable anatomical shaped backrests, which interprets with functional rigor the elegant contrast between solids and voids that recalls supple neoclassical models. The table mod. Ragno is made up of a usual base in fine solid walnut and a tempered glass top. Excellent storage conditions. All furnishings are signed.
