The Stadium table, whose project enters production in 1970, is a removable table which, like other specimens of the series produced in recent years in Artemide resin, offers a new aesthetic closely linked to production technology. The table consists of five removable elements (obtained thanks to two molds): a continuous reinforced resin top in which the printed legs are grafted with a sinuous configuration that gives rigidity to the structure. Suitable for both internal environments and outdoor use. The Selene chair whose project dates back to 1966 is designed by Magistretti to be produced in plastic material, as he himself says: «The session and the backrest are simple curved planes. The Selene chair, an excellent example of unstected elegance and essential expressiveness of the use of new technologies, obtains international success and spreads in the following decades from America to Japan. Both the table and the chair were rewarded in 1970 with the gold medal on the occasion of the Wiener Mobelsalons International in Vienna. The table conditions are perfect, they do not present furrows, cracks or missing parts and are complete with original feet!
