I live in a landmarked town house that has a large spacious dining room with lots of light. We have a dining room table that fills the room with elegance and beauty. There is not a scratch on the furniture and we had the chairs newly upholstered when we bought them. We are now at an age, when a town house no longer suits us and the apartments we are considering will not accommodate this scale of furniture. We reluctantly have to sell what has brought us great joy these past 40 years.
