Charles and Ray Eames spent their entire careers exploring the chair as a single-shell form, yielding numerous expressions—beginning in 1950 with the Molded Fiberglass Chair. which sits atop a 4-leg Eiffel base, the durable shell chairs make spaces more inviting and stylish. The Eameses have created a universal response to what everyone wants from a chair: a simple, gracious form that fits any body and every place. The chair tag date manufacturing in 2013. The set comes with an Eames Square table, circa 1958 design, with a single segmented base, 36"w x 36"d x 29"h. The strength and versatility of the lean and simple base design made it possible to produce tables in a wide range of sizes. Note: There are a total of (10) sets available with four chairs and one table in each set. They came from the Chicago offices of Skidmore Owings and Merrill and were barely used!
