$7,040

Late 19th century American arts and crafts period dining table or library table artisan crafted from quarter-sawn oak. The impressive table was designed and constructed in the American craftsman style with prairie school or mission revival influences. The large table features an oval top that showcases the dramatic quarter-sawn woodgrains of the oak. The frieze has two large storage drawers on each side in the style and manner of a partners desk. The large trestle base has five large, square legs that taper towards the top. The legs are conjoined by an H shaped floor stretcher. Constructed by Rucker Fuller company in San Francisco, CA. The table would make a wonderful desk measuring 25 inches from the floor to the apron for ample legroom. Beautifully detailed and graceful with a distinctive profile. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. Dimensions: 95"w x 47"d x 29.5"h Circa: Late 19th/Early 20th Century, United States Materials: Oak Condition: Good, wear consistent with age and use. Beautifully crafted with strong solid joinery and construction. Age appropriate wear and fading with very minor scuffs and scratches which are difficult to see. The top is slightly faded with darker legs as seen in photos.
