The starting point is the archetype of a nomadic element par excellence - a wooden board on a trestle (or cavallettoin Italian).‎ Ennobled by fine materials and finishes, such as the corners of the oil-treated oak wood board in lava, grey or natural hues, Cavalletta (which name stems from a play of words with cavalletto, or trestle, and cavalletta, or grasshopper) might not jump, but can be moved with ease and can accommodate tops of different lengths.‎The two stands of the powder-painted metal structure can be pushed apart, brought closer, or crossed over, with their shape providing extremely stability in each case.‎
