This is a rectangular Renaissance Revival table from the early 20th century, attributed to Michele Bonciani, Cascina. It features a walnut top and walnut folder with a carved band. There are also two extractable extensions for each side of the top (the leaves are missing). The legs are in solid walnut and shaped like a lyre, with hand carvings of acanthus leaves and central heraldic crest, and with terminations in the shape of a lion's paw. The central cross is in carved solid walnut with lower volutes. The furniture has been polished to wax.
