A smart and very well made antique Regency Period tilt top table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1800-1820 period. It is of excellent quality, it is thick and beautifully constructed. The rectangular top can tilt upwards to save space, it is held in place by a brass catch mechanism and it stands on a splayed tripod base. This is a great size to be used as an occasional side table or even as a four seat dining table. We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age, with just some normal age related wear and patina seen beneath the polish. Width – 37 inches , 94 cm Depth – 26 inches , 66 cm Height – 29 inches , 73 cm
