This is a beautiful antique William IV flame mahogany and decoratively crossbanded extending dining table, dating from Circa 1835. This amazing table can seat ten in comfort and has been hand-crafted from beautiful flame mahogany. The richly figured solid mahogany top has satinwood banding with a moulded edge. It is rectangular in shape with rounded corners and has three leaves which can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion by a special winding mechanism. The leaves can be easily removed and stored away when not required. The table is raised on four decorative hand carved turned baluster shaped tapering legs, typical of the William IV period, that terminate in their original brass cup castors. This stunning dining table will stand out in your dining or conference room and will definitely become a key piece in your furnishing collection.
