Wonderful Early 19th Century Klaffbord (drop leaf) table in the Gustavian style made around 1810 in northern Sweden. Hand crafted of Swedish pine with a lovely cream white patina, with hints of the original paint from the early 1800s still visible. The table is all original with hand forged wrought iron hinges and rivets. (see photos) Fully closed the table measures 19"W, each extra table top is 28.5", making the total length 76". This table would be a wonderful dining table, desk or sideboard in any styled home, modern or traditional.
